Marking
techniques to choose from
Thanks to our
integrated textile printing workshop, we offer the following 3 marking methods
SILKSCREEN
It is the most common
method used by fashion brands and in advertising textile printing. The
silkscreen textile uses the stencil principle the ink passes through mesh
through a silk screen (silk frame) to be deposited on the blank Tee Shirt. It
is a technique halfway between the industrial and the artisanal. Silkscreen is
suitable if your visual has 6 colors maximum, without shadows or gradients.
This is the technique with the best value for money! When it comes to custom screen printing Vancouver, you have various options
to choose from.
FLOCKING
Technically flocking,
which is a common name, is actually a Silkscreen Transfer (a hybrid process between
paper transfer and screen printing). The flocking of T Shirt is suitable for
multi color visuals, a slightly plastic look, once known less quality than
screen printing, today thanks to the progress of our machines, printed visual
flocking has made very close to the screen printing .
DTG
DIGITAL DIRECT PRINTING
Digital is used for the
printing of logos requiring a lot of colors (printing like photo or quadri
example). All prints are made on our DTG Brothers printer. More expensive than
screen printing or flocking Digital DTG marking is suitable for small orders
Tee Shirts. The only constraint, this technique is only used on Tee Shirt White
100% cotton. For t shirt printing, you can always seek help
online.
What
are the inks used by our workshop for the printing of your t shirts?
We scrupulously use
inks that respect the environment and health. All our inks are guaranteed
without phthalates. We use the Rutland brand with the Oeko Tex (Bio Label)
standard.
